HOW CAN I MAKE THE TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY EFFECTIVE?
After Phase 1 of getting to know the -JTB Method- the main phase remains Phase 2, which is planning. Project planning is crucial both to the success of the Corporate Event and/or Team Building experience and to identifying effective Team Building strategies to improve staff productivity (if that is one purpose of the event). Therefore, a careful initial needs analysis and assessment is useful at this stage by identifying and establishing scopes and budgets. Only following the identifications does the JTB define and schedule the activities to be carried out.
WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF TEAM BUILDING IN SUCCESSFUL COMPANIES?
One of the main factors is aggregation in order to amalgamate the team so making them participate with each other. In this case, Phase 4 of the - JTB Method - provides that at the end of the Corporate Event and/or Team Building experience, after fully experiencing every moment, feedback from the participants is collected in order to draw an overall assessment useful for various purposes (including strategic). JTB addresses this by considering the needs that emerged in Phase 2 planning.
